Sechan operates an on-site test facility for determining compliance to MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-462. The facility is based on a 12' x 20' x 8' RFI/EMI room which exceeds -120dB attenuation and meets the requirements of MIL-STD-285 and NSA 65-6 for shielding effectiveness through the range 1kHz to 10GHz. This capability provides a repeatable and readily-available facility for design verification and production quality audits, while removing the schedule and technical risks inherent in subcontracting this effort.
